Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia, Mr Djuro Macut, arrived in Algeria on Monday evening on a working visit at the head of a high-level delegation, according to a statement issued by the services of the Prime Minister.
Upon his arrival at Houari Boumediene International Airport, he was welcomed by Prime Minister Mr Sifi Ghrieb, accompanied by a ministerial delegation, as well as the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr Lounès Magramane, and Algeria’s Ambassador to Serbia, Mr Mahrez Fatah.
The same source stated that this visit falls within the framework of “strengthening the relations of friendship and cooperation between Algeria and the Republic of Serbia,” and aims to “consolidate bilateral cooperation and broaden the prospects for partnership, particularly in the economic and investment fields.”
The visit also reflects “the political will of the leaders of the two countries, President of the Republic Mr Abdelmadjid Tebboune and his Serbian counterpart Aleksandar Vučić, to elevate bilateral relations to broader levels and strengthen coordination and consultation on issues of common interest.”
