Following the death of the former President of the Republic, the moudjahid Liamine Zeroual, the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, continues to receive messages of condolence from his counterparts in several brotherly and friendly countries.
In this context, the President of the Republic received a message of condolence from the President of the Republic of Turkiye, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdogan, in which he expressed "his sincere condolences and deep sympathy to the family of the deceased and the Algerian people," praising "the exceptional place of the deceased in Algeria's history and in the hearts of its people."
"The deceased defended his country with loyalty during his presidential term, but also through the various responsibilities he was called upon to assume," President Erdogan added.
Condolences From the President and Vice-President of the Libyan Presidential Council, Messrs. Younes El-Menfi and Moussa El-Kouni
For his part, the President of the Libyan Presidential Council, Mr. Younes El-Menfi, also presented his condolences to the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, on this occasion.
Mr. El-Menfi expressed, on his own behalf and on behalf of the Libyan people, his sincere condolences and deep compassion following the death of the moudjahid Liamine Zeroual.
The deceased "served his country with dedication and loyalty, contributing to the consolidation of its stability and unity and to the strengthening of its position at regional and international levels," he emphasized, renewing his condolences to the family of the deceased, as well as to the Algerian government and people, in this painful trial.
For his part, the Vice-President of the Libyan Presidential Council, Mr. Moussa El-Kouni, also presented his condolences to the President of the Republic and the Algerian people in this painful trial, praying to Almighty God to grant the deceased His holy mercy and to grant his family patience and comfort.
Condolences From the President of the Sovereignty Council of Sudan, General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan
General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, President of the Sovereignty Council of Sudan, also presented his sincere condolences to his brother, the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
