The National Independent Authority for Elections (ANIE) provided clarifications on Wednesday in a press release regarding the procedures for withdrawing the collective candidacy declaration file for the legislative elections scheduled for next July 2.
In anticipation of the election of the members of the National People's Assembly (APN), scheduled for July 2, the National Independent Authority for Elections informs those wishing to form candidate lists under the aegis of one or more political parties or as an independent list, that they can visit the headquarters of the wilaya coordinator or the Algerian diplomatic or consular representations abroad, as the case may be, in the concerned electoral constituency, to withdraw the collective candidacy declaration file and/or the individual signature forms, every day of the week from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Regarding the 11 recently created wilayas, the withdrawal of the file takes place at the headquarters of the wilaya coordinator in the parent wilaya, until the appointment of the wilaya coordinator and the communal coordinators in the new wilayas, in accordance with the law relating to the territorial organization of the country.
