The Minister of Culture and Arts, Ms. Malika Bendouda, announced the organization of the "African-Mediterranean Meetings of Thought," scheduled to take place from April 28 to 30 in Algiers.
This major international event will see significant global participation and will be dedicated to celebrating the intellectual legacy of Saint Augustin, viewed as a prominent symbol of civilizational interaction and cultural dialogue.
According to the Minister, this edition aims to honor Saint Augustin for his role in fostering cross-cultural engagement. The meetings represent a renewed opportunity to consolidate Algeria's position as an intellectual bridge connecting Africa and Europe.
The African-Mediterranean Meetings of Thought are expected to draw a wide range of elite researchers, scholars, and thinkers from various countries across the globe.
