Pope Leo XIV toured several facilities of Djamaâ El-Djazaïr this Monday afternoon.
During this visit, accompanied by the Rector of Djamaâ El-Djazaïr, Sheikh Mohamed Mamoune El-Kacimi El-Housseini, and the Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad, and African Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, Algeria's guest stopped at the prayer hall of Djamaâ El-Djazaïr and toured its various religious and cultural facilities.
During this visit, which serves as a symbolic milestone for fostering interfaith dialogue and consolidating the values of coexistence, the Pope also signed the Golden Guestbook of Djamaâ El-Djazaïr. He then took a commemorative photo and exchanged symbolic gifts with the Rector of Djamaâ El-Djazaïr.
