The State Secretary to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, in charge of the National Community Abroad, Mr. Sofiane Chaib, received on Thursday at the Ministry's headquarters the Rector of the Grand Mosque of Paris, Mr. Chems-Eddine Hafiz, who paid him a courtesy visit.
In his speech on this occasion, the Secretary of State emphasized that this program falls within the framework of implementing the directives of the country's high authorities, aimed at ensuring optimal preparation for the Hajj season 1447 AH / 2026 AD. He explained that this specialized training reflects the State's firm will to establish an integrated system for managing the Hajj season, based on tight coordination between various involved sectors. This ensures high-quality preparation for this significant religious event and guarantees the best possible conditions for our blessed Hajjis.
In this context, the Secretary of State emphasized that managing the Hajj season represents a supreme national responsibility, transcending the organizational framework to its symbolic dimension as a reflection of Algeria's image and authentic values. This requires the highest levels of commitment and engagement from all actors, particularly members of the consular delegation, in close coordination with our diplomatic and consular missions. Such efforts are essential to ensure the provision of high-quality services that meet our Hajjis' expectations and reflect the level of care bestowed upon them by the State.
For his part, the Minister of Religious Affairs and Endowments, Mr. Youcef Belmehdi, praised the importance of this training program, considering it a fundamental pillar in strengthening institutional coordination and elevating the performance of various actors involved in organizing the Hajj season. In this context, he confirmed the completion of all organizational and logistical arrangements necessary to ensure the smooth running of the season under the best possible conditions.
