Minister of Public Works Discusses with his Chadian Counterpart Ways to Strengthen Bilateral Cooperation

The Minister of Public Works and Basic Infrastructures, Mr. Abdelkader Djellaoui, received today, Tuesday, in Algiers, the Minister of Infrastructure, Territorial Connectivity, and Road Maintenance in the Republic of Chad, Mr. Amir Idriss Kourda. According to a ministry statement, the two parties discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the field of public works and infrastructure.

The statement explained that the meeting provided an opportunity to review the Algerian experience in various fields of the sector, particularly regarding the development and modernization of the road network and infrastructure.

The two parties emphasized the importance of intensifying the exchange of expertise and experience, particularly regarding technical aspects, execution capacities, training, technical laboratories, and engineering consultancy firms.

The two parties emphasized the need to activate existing cooperation mechanisms and strengthen the partnership between the competent authorities of both countries, particularly through the Joint Technical Committee for Public Works and Infrastructure, according to the same source.
