Prime Minister Chairs a Government Meeting

The Prime Minister, Mr. Sifi Ghrieb, chaired today, Tuesday, a government meeting dedicated to studying the following points:

At the beginning, the government studied a draft executive decree determining the modalities for the State's coverage of financial burdens resulting from the increase in the reimbursement rate for social security benefits in kind for the benefit of certain categories of socially insured persons.

The draft of this text falls within the objective of organizing the State's coverage of the difference in costs for the reimbursement of social security benefits in kind for health insurance for the benefit of certain categories of socially insured persons.

The government also listened to a presentation on the employment of foreign labor in Algeria. This presentation highlighted the national legal framework governing this aspect, particularly in accordance with the International Labour Organization (ILO) Convention No. 97 of 1949 concerning Migration for Employment, which enshrines the principle of equality of treatment between national and foreign workers.

This presentation highlighted the need to further develop national competencies to support major structural investment projects and the national economic transformation.
