The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, and his Chadian counterpart, Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno, presided this Wednesday evening over the signing ceremony of several bilateral agreements and Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) covering various fields of cooperation.
The signed agreements and MoUs involve the sectors of public works, communication, youth, animal health, the pharmaceutical industry, air transport services, higher education and scientific research, as well as industry and trade.
Furthermore, a framework cooperation agreement was signed regarding the construction of a refinery, along with an agreement on mutual visa exemption for holders of diplomatic and service (mission) passports. Both governments also signed an agreement establishing a mechanism for political and diplomatic consultations.
