Prime Minister Sifi Ghrieb launched on Wednesday in the province of Tissemsilt the project for the automotive plastic components and accessories production unit "General Plastic Injection" (GPI). This launch took place during a working and inspection visit to the province, mandated by the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
The inauguration ceremony was held in the presence of the Minister of Interior, Local Communities and Transport, Said Sayoud, and the Minister of Industry, Yahia Bachir. The Prime Minister inspected the project site and listened to a detailed presentation regarding its implementation stages.
Located in the Sidi Mansour area of the Khemisti municipality and covering a total area of 107,361 square meters, this factory is part of the revitalization of confiscated projects and their integration into the national economic dynamic. This approach aims to value productive assets and transform them into a genuine lever for development and wealth creation.
This project also aligns with the efforts made by public authorities to encourage the local manufacturing of automotive spare parts, as a fundamental pillar for building an integrated and sustainable production system that supports the development of the national mechanical industry.
During this visit, several agreements are expected to be signed concerning the development of the automotive components and spare parts industry, the enhancement of industrial partnerships, technology transfer, and the support of local integration.
