The Prime Minister, Mr. Sifi Ghrieb, oversaw this Wednesday in Batna the signing ceremony of cooperation agreements between the East Maintenance Company (SME), a subsidiary of the Industrial Cement Group of Algeria (GICA), and several national companies. These agreements aim to bolster industrial partnership and increase local integration rates.
The visit, during which the Prime Minister was accompanied by the Minister of the Interior, Local Authorities, and Transport, Mr. Saïd Sayoud, and the Minister of Industry, Mr. Yahia Bachir, as well as several economic operators, saw the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the East Maintenance Company (SME) and Tosyali Algeria. This agreement aims to provide the company with the necessary raw materials for its activities.
In the same context, several memoranda of understanding (MoUs) were signed with various industrial and economic entities, including Hyundai Manufacturing Algeria, SIGMA SPA, and the Stellantis Group. Additionally, agreements were formalized with the ETRAG-CIRTA enterprise, as well as TIRSAM, MAN SPA, and PANG BO Algeria. These partnerships aim to expand industrial cooperation and exchange expertise, thereby supporting the national industrial fabric and enhancing its production capacities.
These agreements fall within the framework of the State's efforts aimed at encouraging partnerships between various economic actors and promoting national industry. This is notably achieved through the valuation of recovered industrial assets and their integration into the economic dynamics.
