Representing the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the President of the Council of the Nation, Mr. Azzouz Nasri, will participate next Tuesday in Kampala in the swearing-in ceremony of the re-elected Ugandan President, Mr. Yoweri Museveni, according to a statement released this Sunday by the Council.
The same source clarified that Mr. Nasri arrived in Kampala today, representing the President of the Republic, to take part in the constitutional oath-taking ceremony of the re-elected Ugandan President, Mr. Yoweri Museveni, scheduled for this Tuesday.
Mr. Nasri was received at Entebbe International Airport by the Ugandan Minister of State for Cooperatives, Mr. Frederick Ngobi Gume, and the Ambassador of the Republic of Uganda to Algeria, Mr. John Chrysostom Alintuma Nsambu, along with the Algerian diplomatic and administrative staff, headed by the Ambassador of Algeria to the Republic of Uganda, Mr. Mourad Amokrane.
