The President of the Council of the Nation called for the "necessity of elevating economic and trade relations to the level of the distinguished political relations, by activating the Joint Algerian-Mozambican Committee and expanding fields of cooperation to include promising strategic sectors, most notably energy, industry, agriculture, higher education, and vocational training."

For her part, Ms. Margarida Adamugi Talapa praised Algeria's "unwavering and continuous" support for her country, especially in the fields of energy and higher education, as well as the training programs provided by Algeria to officials from various sectors in the Republic of Mozambique. After noting the "strategic role" played by Algeria in supporting development and South-South cooperation, the President of the Assembly of the Republic of Mozambique seized the opportunity to express her "highest expressions of gratitude to the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, for all his efforts to advance cooperation and integration pathways among the continent's nations in pursuit of the aspirations of the African peoples."

On the same occasion, both sides praised the "ascending dynamics characterizing bilateral relations," emphasizing their "keenness to continue enhancing consultation and coordination on regional and international issues of common concern." In this regard, both parties renewed their "unwavering support for the right of the Sahrawi people to self-determination in accordance with resolutions of international legitimacy." They also stressed the need to strive toward "establishing a just and lasting peace in the Middle East, by enabling the Palestinian people to establish their independent state with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital." On the parliamentary front, the President of the Council of the Nation and the President of the Assembly of the Republic of Mozambique highlighted the importance of elevating the coordination between the two legislative institutions to broader horizons and enhancing consultation within various international and continental parliamentary bodies.
