President of the Republic of Algeria Receives Sheikh Mahy Ibrahim Niass, Grand Caliph of the Tijaniyya Medina Baye in Senegal, and his Accompanying Delegation

The President of the Republic of Algeria, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, received Sheikh Mahy Ibrahim Niass, Grand Caliph of the Tijaniyya Medina Baye in Senegal, and his accompanying delegation.

The meeting was attended on the Algerian side by Mr. Brahim Merad, Minister of State in charge of the General Inspectorate of State Services and Local Assemblies; Sheikh Sidi Ali Belarabi, Grand Caliph of the Tijaniyya Order; and Mr. Mohamed Hassouni, Advisor to the President of the Republic in charge of Religious Affairs, Zawiyas, and Quranic Schools.

And on the Senegalese side, the meeting was attended by Mr. Sheikh Mohamed Al-Mahi Ibrahim Niasse, Mr. Mohamed Moustapha Niasse, Mr. Mohamed Macky Niasse, and Mr. Abdourahmane Ndao, all representing the Tijaniyya Medina Baye in Senegal.
