The first group of Algerian pilgrims returned to the homeland this Sunday afternoon, arriving from the Holy Places after performing the Hajj rituals for the 1447 AH season.
On this occasion, all necessary facilities were provided by the concerned authorities at Houari Boumediene International Airport to ensure the pilgrims' comfort and to welcome them in the best conditions.
Upon their arrival at the airport, this group, consisting of 399 pilgrims, received a special welcome from their families and representatives of the sectors involved in organizing the Hajj operation.
In a statement to the press, the Deputy Director of Information at the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Wakfs, Mohamed Zeghdani, praised the "well-organized conditions and the constant accompaniment of the pilgrims in the Holy Places by the Algerian Hajj mission." He highlighted that this operation "was crowned with success under the supervision of the Minister of Religious Affairs and Endowments, Mr. Youcef Belmehdi, Head of the Algerian Pilgrims Office."
