An international symposium on manuscript heritage in Algeria, entitled "The Ink Routes in Algeria: Civilization and Heritage," will be organized on June 15 and 16 in Algiers, the Ministry of Culture and Arts announced in a statement on Tuesday.
This international forum, scheduled to be held at the Abdelatif Rahal International Conference Center (CIC) under the high patronage of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, will bring together experts, international researchers, and curators of ancient libraries. They will discuss the cultural narrative of Algerian manuscript heritage and the mechanisms for its protection as a "fundamental pillar of national memory and identity," the same source specified.
