The Algerian national football team continues its preparations for the 2026 World Cup finals in an atmosphere filled with focus and discipline. The players underwent an intensive training session yesterday, Friday, at the Rock Chalk Park complex in Lawrence, USA, putting the final touches ahead of the highly anticipated clash against the Argentinian national team, according to the official website of the Algerian Football Federation (FAF).

The training session saw the participation of all players selected for the competition. The technical staff focused on both technical and tactical aspects, working to enhance cohesion among the national squad members and testing several tactical options and formations. This was in addition to specific drills aimed at improving collective organization and raising physical and technical readiness.

The elements of "Les Fennecs" displayed a high level of seriousness and discipline throughout the training session, reflecting the deep focus and determination to present the best possible performance during the upcoming World Cup participation.

On the sidelines of the preparations, the national team received remarkable public support during an open training session, which drew over 300 spectators from the Algerian community residing in the United States, in addition to several American families who came to discover the Algerian squad up close, while children made a notable appearance in the stands.

Following the conclusion of the session, the national team players dedicated moments of warmth and closeness to the attending fans, taking souvenir photos and signing jerseys and gifts, in an atmosphere that reflected the positive spirit prevailing within the group and left a beautiful impression on the supporters, especially the children.

Furthermore, "Les Fennecs" participated in the "Bring the Moves" campaign launched by FIFA in partnership with the World Health Organization (WHO), aiming to encourage children to engage in physical activity and adopt a healthy lifestyle.

The initiative saw the participation of over 60 children in various sports and entertainment activities, which included movement exercises, mini-matches, and interactive segments in the presence of the national team players.

The interaction of the national team players with these community initiatives highlights their keenness to represent Algeria in the best possible way both on and off the pitch, at a time when preparations continue at a high pace to rise to the challenge in the global showpiece.
