Three partnership and cooperation agreements were signed in the wilaya of Illizi between the vocational training and education sector and a foreign energy company, aimed at supporting quality training and enhancing youth integration into the labor market, the local sector director, Youcef Hamdani, announced today, Tuesday.
The same source explained that the signing ceremony took place at the official residence, Tassili, under the supervision of the Wali of Illizi, Ahcene Khaldi, and in the presence of the Director General of TotalEnergies Algeria, alongside several local officials and directors of the relevant sectors.
The concluded agreements cover hosting trainees for apprenticeship programs and practical internships, supporting training activities dedicated to stay-at-home women and rural communities by providing equipment and work materials, as well as launching a new specialization in solar energy across the wilaya's vocational training institutions.
This initiative falls within the framework of strengthening cooperation between the vocational training sector and economic enterprises, contributing to the development of youth skills and enhancing their employability in accordance with labor market requirements.
On the sidelines of the signing ceremony, a field visit was organized to the vocational training institute and center in Illizi to inspect the pedagogical structures and equipment deployed for the benefit of the trainees, as noted.
