The National Independent Authority for Elections (ANIE) reported, in a statement today, Thursday, that all those registered on the electoral lists who were unable to receive their voter card can collect it on election day from their own polling center, within the framework of the election of members of the People's National Assembly scheduled for today, Thursday, July 2.
In the event that the voter card cannot be presented, the voter can "exercise their right to vote if they are registered on the electoral list of the concerned electoral district, and they must present an identity card or any other official document proving their identity," according to the same source.
This measure comes—the statement adds—under Presidential Decree No. 26-145 regarding the convening of the electorate for the election of members of the People's National Assembly, today, Thursday, July 2, 2026, and in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 21-01 containing the Organic Law relating to the electoral system, amended and supplemented, as well as the decision that determines the modalities for preparing, delivering, replacing, and withdrawing the voter card.
