The Conference of Supervisors of Palestinian Affairs in Arab Host States has warned against the accelerated expansion of Zionist settlements in occupied East Al-Quds and the worsening humanitarian situation in the occupied West Bank.
In a final communiqué issued on Monday following its 115th session, held over five days at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States in Cairo, the participants denounced "the approval of new settlement projects in East Al-Quds, policies to judaize the city, attacks on holy sites, demolitions of Palestinian homes, and measures aimed at altering its historical and legal status," deeming these practices "grave violations of international law."
The communiqué affirmed that "the separation wall, military checkpoints, and gates installed by the Zionist entity constitute a system of segregation that hinders the freedom of movement, economic development, and daily life of Palestinians," noting that "United Nations member states are called upon to move from political condemnations to binding measures in accordance with the advisory opinion issued by the International Court of Justice in 2024."
The Conference also condemned the Zionist entity's decisions to establish new settlements and continue expanding existing outposts in the occupied West Bank, reaffirming "the nullity of all measures aimed at reclassifying Palestinian land, particularly those located in Area C."
The participants rejected plans to partition the Gaza Strip, notably the so-called "yellow zone" plan, which they consider an instrument of military control and forced displacement of the population.
Finally, the Conference called on the international community to "impose sanctions on settler militias and Zionist officials, put an end to impunity, and provide international protection for the Palestinian people."
