The Sonatrach Group and the Indonesian company Pertamina signed three service contracts on Monday at Sonatrach's general headquarters. These contracts relate to the lifting of crude oil, condensate, and LPG from the Menzel Ledjmet perimeter (Block 405a) in the wilaya of Illizi .
These agreements, which fall within the framework of the Menzel Ledjmet hydrocarbon contract, aim to enable Pertamina to manage its products under the best conditions at Algerian loading ports.
To this end, Sonatrach will ensure the scheduling, coordination, and monitoring of the lifting of crude oil, condensate, and LPG quantities belonging to its Indonesian partner.
As a reminder, the hydrocarbon contract for the Menzel Ledjmet perimeter, concluded in accordance with Law No. 19-13 governing Production Sharing Contract (PSC) hydrocarbon activities, entered into force on January 7, 2025, for a duration of 25 years. It brings together Sonatrach, Pertamina, and Repsol as partners.
The National Group noted that these new agreements confirm the strength of commercial relations between Sonatrach and Pertamina. The two have been partners for over 24 years in the hydrocarbons sector, a relationship marked by long-term purchase/sale contracts and numerous spot transactions involving Saharan Blend, condensate, and LPG.
