The President of the Republic, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Minister of National Defense, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, extended his deepest condolences and sympathies to the family of Brigadier General Kamel Lakhdar of the Land Forces of the People's National Army (ANP), who passed away at the Central Army Hospital.
The official condolence message read:
"Following the passing of Brigadier General Kamel Lakhdar of the Land Forces of the People's National Army at the Central Army Hospital, the President of the Republic, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Minister of National Defense, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, extends his most sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathies to the family of the deceased and to all members of the People's National Army."
The President concluded his message by praying to Almighty God to encompass the deceased with His infinite mercy, welcome him into His vast paradise, and grant his family, relatives, and comrades patience and solace, adding, "To Allah we belong, and to Him we shall return."
