A delegation from the Russian State Duma arrived in Algeria on Monday for an official visit led by Dmitry Sablin, Coordinator of the Parliamentary Group for Relations with Parliaments of the Middle East and North Africa. The visit is scheduled to last from January 19 to 23, according to a statement from the National People's Assembly.
According to the statement, the delegation was welcomed upon arrival at Houari Boumediene International Airport by members of the "Algeria-Russia" parliamentary friendship group.
The statement noted that this visit falls "within the framework of strengthening relations of cooperation and parliamentary consultation between the two friendly countries."
