Tasked by the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, the National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, arrived on Wednesday evening in Cairo for an official visit to the sister Arab Republic of Egypt, a ministry press release indicated.
The program for this visit includes "two main components: a bilateral component relating to Algerian-Egyptian relations and a trilateral component linked to the Libyan crisis," the press release specified.
Regarding the bilateral component, Mr. Attaf will hold talks with his Egyptian counterpart, Mr. Badr Abdelatty, and will be received by the high authorities of this sister country, the same source added.
Furthermore, the Minister of State will participate in the proceedings of the ministerial meeting of the Algeria-Egypt-Tunisia Consultation Mechanism on Libya, alongside the Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates, Mr. Badr Abdelatty, and the Tunisian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, Mr. Mohamed Ali Nafti, the press release concluded.
