The International Exhibition of Equipment and Services for Catering, Hospitality, and Collective Services (HORECA) opened on Monday at the Exhibition Palace in Algiers. The event is held under the patronage of the Ministry of Tourism and Handicrafts, with the participation of more than 120 exhibitors.
Designed exclusively for professionals in the sector, this event, which will run for four days, brings together national exhibitors and over 150 foreign brands represented by Algerian companies, according to the organizers.
The event "aims to strengthen the structuring of the sector and stimulate synergies between the various stakeholders," it was stated, adding that exhibition spaces will be dedicated to equipment, food products, professional solutions, and sector innovations.
Concurrently, culinary competitions will be organized, as well as professional meetings for the benefit of managers of cafes, restaurants, and hotel establishments. These meetings will focus on management challenges, profitability, service quality, and the evolution of the trades.
