Algerian Radio
As part of the World Radio Day celebrations—themed "Radio and Artificial Intelligence" by UNESCO this year—Algerian Radio is organizing a significant media event under the supervision of its Director General, Mr. Adel Salakdji.
The event features the launch of the English version of the Algerian Radio website, alongside the official announcement that the archive digitization process is complete. This initiative is part of a strategic approach aimed at bolstering the institution's digital transformation, preserving its audio heritage, and expanding its media outreach on both national and international levels.
The event is scheduled to take place on Thursday, February 12, 2026, starting at 10:30 AM at the Aissa Messaoudi Cultural Center within the Algerian Radio headquarters.
The occasion will also be marked by the signing of a cooperation and partnership agreement between Algerian Radio and the Center for Research in Social and Cultural Anthropology (CRASC). This agreement aims to strengthen scientific and cultural cooperation prospects and contribute to enhancing radio content with a scientific and cognitive dimension.
