African Union Executive Council Praises Algeria's Leading Role in Several Fields

During the proceedings of its 48th Ordinary Session held in Addis Ababa, the Executive Council of the African Union praised the leading role played by Algeria at the continental level in the fields of youth empowerment, culture, intraregional trade, and the pharmaceutical industry.

The Executive Council of the African Union praised Algeria's leadership in promoting the empowerment of African youth, particularly through the launch of the “One Million” initiative. The Council commended the presentation of the initiative's “Scorecard,” considering it a practical model for enhancing youth integration in development processes. It further called on Member States to draw inspiration from the Algerian experience and follow its footsteps in this field.
