The International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) recognized, this Friday, the artistic move of the Algerian champion Kaylia Nemour.

After having her name attached to the "Nemour 1" move months ago, Kaylia now holds the "authorship rights" to the "Nemour 2" move.

This came as a result of the unique technique innovated by Nemour in the uneven bars competition.

Nemour will compete in the Artistic Gymnastics World Cup final "Cottbus 2026" in Germany next Sunday evening.

Nemour's qualification came after she topped the qualifiers, marking a new page for one of the brightest stars of world gymnastics.

Kaylia Nemour achieved a distinctive score of 15.200 points, snatching the lead.

Kaylia's result confirms the strength of her position among the world gymnastics elite.

Following the pattern of her first gold at the Paris 2024 Olympics, Nemour wrote history in October 2025 during the World Championships in Jakarta.

Kaylia Nemour became the first Arab and African gymnast to be crowned world champion in this discipline.
