The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) will hold an emergency meeting of its Executive Committee at the level of Foreign Ministers on Thursday in Jeddah to examine the latest measures by the Zionist occupation aimed notably at annexing the occupied West Bank, the Palestinian news agency Wafa reported on Monday.
According to Wafa, Thursday's meeting "will focus on the illegal decisions of the (Zionist) occupation aimed at expanding settlements, proceeding with annexations, and attempting to impose its alleged sovereignty over the occupied West Bank."
The meeting will also examine "the repercussions of these measures, which are considered part of a plan to alter the legal, political, and demographic status of the occupied Palestinian territory and to undermine the chances of achieving a two-state solution in accordance with international law," the same source added.
