2026 World Cup: Algeria to Face Netherlands in Friendly in Rotterdam on June 3

The National Football Team will face its Dutch counterpart on June 3 in Rotterdam (19:45 Algeria time), as part of the preparations for the 2026 World Cup finals (from June 11 to July 19), the Algerian Football Federation (FAF) announced in a statement this monday.

This match against the Dutch team (ranked 7th globally according to the latest FIFA ranking) is scheduled just a few days before the National Team's departure to the United States to participate in the global event.

In addition to the Netherlands, Riyad Mahrez's teammates will face the national teams of Guatemala and Uruguay in friendly matches during the month of March in Italy, as part of a preparatory training camp.

The "Greens" will first meet the Guatemala team (ranked 94th globally) on Friday, March 27, at the "Luigi Ferraris" stadium in Genoa (20:30), before facing Uruguay (ranked 17th globally) on Tuesday, March 31, at the "Allianz Stadium" in Turin (20:30).

During the World Cup, the "Greens" will play in Group J alongside the national teams of Argentina, Austria, and Jordan.

The National Team will kick off its participation on June 17 by facing Argentina in Kansas City (02:00), then meet Jordan on June 23 in Santa Clara, California (04:00), before concluding the group stage by facing Austria on June 28 in Kansas City (03:00).
