Attaf Receives Phone Call from the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus

The Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, received a phone call this Wednesday from the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus, Constantinos Kombos, according to a statement from the Ministry.

The statement explained that, on this occasion, “the two ministers discussed ways to inject further dynamism into bilateral relations and exchanged views on the prospects of strengthening the Euro-Mediterranean partnership, in the context of Cyprus’s upcoming rotating presidency of the European Union”.

The two parties also discussed “the current situation in the Middle East and its repercussions on regional and international security,' according to the same statement”.
