President of the Republic of Algeria Receives a Phone Call from His Lebanese Counterpart

The President of the Republic of Algeria, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, received a phone call this Sunday from his brother, the President of the Lebanese Republic, Mr. Joseph Aoun. The call addressed the fraternal relations between the two brotherly countries, according to a statement from the Presidency of the Republic.

The statement read: “The President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, received a phone call from his brother, the President of the Lebanese Republic, Mr. Joseph Aoun, which addressed the fraternal relations linking the two countries”.

On this occasion, the two Presidents also addressed the “repeated assaults targeting brotherly Lebanon,” with the President of the Republic affirming “Algeria's solidarity and its readiness to stand by the Lebanese people to overcome this crisis”.
