The President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, extended his heartfelt congratulations to the students of the National Higher School of Mathematics following their remarkable success at the 2026 International Mathematics Competition (IMC), hosted in Bulgaria.
Taking to his official social media accounts, the President wrote: "Yet another highly honorable international participation that warrants our congratulations and encouragement for our students at the National Higher School of Mathematics."
He added: "A massive congratulations to Chemseddine Abdelali Derrache, Mohamed Amir Benmalouka, and Haitham Idriss Aït Hamdouch for securing the first and third ranks among 130 universities and 48 countries participating in the 2026 IMC hosted by Bulgaria."
The President proudly concluded his message by stating: "This is exactly how we always want to see you: constantly achieving excellence and distinction."
