The Zionist genocidal aggression against the Gaza Strip has left 72,247 martyrs and 171,878 injured, the majority of whom are women and children, since October 7, 2023, according to a new toll released this Monday by the Palestinian health authorities.
The bodies of eight martyrs, along with 17 injured individuals, were transferred to Gaza hospitals over the past 24 hours, the same source stated, noting that many victims remain under the rubble.
Since the ceasefire came into effect last October 10th, 671 Palestinians have been martyred and 1,779 others have been injured, while the bodies of 756 martyrs have been recovered, the same source added.
