Eight people were martyred in a Zionist strike on Saida, the Lebanese Ministry of Health announced this Wednesday.
"The strike by the Zionist enemy on Saida, in southern Lebanon, has resulted, according to a provisional toll, in eight deaths among the civilian population and 22 wounded," the ministry stated in a communiqué.
The attack hit the seafront of this coastal city, and flames rose from a cafe where broken glass littered the pavement.
Firefighters worked to extinguish the fire while the army cordoned off the area. Cars parked nearby were also damaged.
The death toll from the Zionist aggression against Lebanon has risen to 1,530 martyrs and 4,812 wounded since March 2, the Lebanese Ministry of Health announced Tuesday in a new report.
