Algeria condemned and denounced in the strongest terms the brutal and barbaric Israeli airstrikes that have targeted and continue to target various parts of the Lebanese Republic. It expressed its full solidarity with Lebanon's leadership and people, according to a statement issued this Thursday by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The statement read: “Algeria condemns and denounces in the strongest terms the brutal and barbaric Israeli airstrikes that have targeted and continue to target various parts of the Lebanese Republic, and expresses its full solidarity with Lebanon’s leadership and people in these difficult circumstances.”
Algeria also called for “mobilizing the efforts of the international community to put an end to this blatant aggression, which targets the sovereignty, security, and stability of the Lebanese Republic, as it threatens to pull the entire region back into a spiral of escalation, despite the concerned parties having reached a preliminary agreement on the cessation of military operations.”
