Eleven people were martyred and others injured yesterday, Wednesday, in a series of airstrikes carried out by the Zionist occupation forces on southern Lebanon.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health stated in a communiqué that the Zionist occupation's airstrikes on the town of Abbasiyeh, in the Tyre district of southern Lebanon, resulted in the martyrdom of seven people and the injury of 17 others, including children.
The Zionist airstrikes on Abbasiyeh also led to the martyrdom of one person and the injury of eight others. Meanwhile, the targeting of ambulance teams in the town of Mayfadoun, in the Nabatieh district, resulted in the martyrdom of three paramedics and left six others injured.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health had previously announced that the death toll from the ongoing Zionist aggression on the country since March 2nd has risen to 2,167 martyrs and 7,061 wounded.
