Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, held bilateral talks on Friday in Antalya with the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, Mr. Ahmed Aboul Gheit, according to a ministry statement.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of Mr. Attaf's participation in the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.
The discussions provided an opportunity for an "in-depth exchange of views and analyses on the current situation in the Arab world, particularly in the Middle East and the Gulf region," the same source specified.
Both parties also addressed "the prospects for developing the joint Arab action system, aimed at ensuring optimal management of the increasing challenges facing the Arab region," the statement concluded.
