July 2 Legislative Elections: Announcement of Results for Withdrawal of Collective Candidacy Declaration Files

The Independent National Authority for Elections (ANIE) announced Monday evening in a communiqué the results regarding the withdrawal of collective candidacy declaration files for the election of members of the People's National Assembly (APN), scheduled for July 2.

Regarding the withdrawal of collective candidacy declaration files for electoral districts within the country, ANIE specified that the total number reached "1,223 files across 69 wilayas, including 1,041 files for lists sponsored by 35 political parties, one file for a list sponsored by more than one political party (coalition), and 181 files for independent lists."

The total number of individual signature forms withdrawn reached 1,329,915.

As for the electoral districts abroad, the total number of candidacy declaration files withdrawn amounted to "14 files sponsored by 11 political parties," while "no submission of a collective candidacy declaration file has been recorded," according to the communiqué.
