The Minister of State, Minister of Hydrocarbons, Mr. Mohamed Arkab, will participate this Sunday via videoconference in a coordination meeting of seven countries within the OPEC+ framework. The group includes Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, the Sultanate of Oman, and Russia, according to a statement from the Ministry of Hydrocarbons.
This meeting is part of the regular monitoring of the global oil market and aims to strengthen coordination among the seven countries participating in the Declaration of Cooperation (OPEC+), which are currently implementing voluntary adjustments to their production levels.
During the meeting, the ministers will engage in an in-depth exchange on short-term oil market prospects in light of evolving supply and demand fundamentals. They will also discuss the current status of the international oil market and its outlook for the coming period.
The meeting falls within the framework of the coordinated and voluntary efforts made by these seven OPEC+ countries to support the stability and balance of the global oil market.
