The General Directorate of Taxes (DGI) announced on Saturday the launch of an electronic payment service via the "Jibayatic" e-filing and e-payment portal, allowing taxpayers to pay their due duties and taxes online as part of the ongoing modernization of the tax administration and the improvement of public service quality.
The DGI specified in a statement that this new service is intended for all taxpayers, regardless of their tax regime, explaining that they can now make their payments using the interbank card (CIB), the Edahabia card, or via bank transfer through the National Bank of Algeria (BNA), Crédit Populaire d'Algérie (CPA), the Local Development Bank (BDL), the Bank of Agriculture and Rural Development (BADR), and the External Bank of Algeria (BEA).
The DGI invites taxpayers who do not yet have their login credentials for the "Jibayatic" portal—namely their username and password—to contact the competent tax services (tax inspections, tax centers, or local tax offices) as soon as possible to obtain them.
It stressed that these credentials are essential to access the personal space of the "Jibayatic" portal and benefit from the various available digital services, particularly for fulfilling tax obligations simply, securely, and without having to travel to tax offices.
The DGI also urges taxpayers, especially those facing upcoming tax deadlines, to make greater use of remote digital procedures, which offer several advantages, including time savings, 24/7 service access, enhanced transaction security, and a reduction in travel and waiting times.
Finally, the DGI reaffirms its commitment to supporting taxpayers in using digital services, mobilizing all of its tax offices to provide them with the necessary assistance and guidance when using the "Jibayatic" portal.
