Health authorities in Gaza announced this Wednesday that the death toll from the ongoing Zionist aggression on the Strip has risen to 72,599 martyrs and 172,411 injured since October 7, 2023.
The Palestinian News & Information Agency (WAFA) quoted health authorities stating that hospitals in the Strip received 5 martyrs and 7 injured during the past twenty-four hours.
It noted that the total number of martyrs since the ceasefire on October 10 has risen to 823, while the total number of injuries has increased to 2,308. Additionally, 763 bodies have been recovered from under the rubble.
The sources indicated that a number of victims remain under the rubble and on the roads, as ambulance and rescue crews are unable to reach them up to this moment.
