Algeria’s candidate, Mr. Fateh Boutbig, was elected President of the Pan-African Parliament (PAP) on Thursday.
Mr. Fateh Boutbig, who is a member of the Council of the Nation representing the presidential third, secured the leadership of the continental legislative body, marking a significant success for Algerian diplomacy within the African Union framework.
