The first group of Algerian pilgrims arrived Tuesday morning in Makkah via Jeddah International Airport. They were received upon arrival by the Consul General of Algeria in Jeddah, Mr. Mohamed El Habib Zahana, and the Head of the Jeddah Center of the Algerian Hajj Mission, Mr. Badreddine Filali.

The Algerian Mission has put in place all necessary facilities for the pilgrims, allowing them to complete airport procedures smoothly and efficiently.

In a press statement, the Consul General confirmed the readiness of all arrangements to continue receiving Algerian pilgrims under optimal conditions and to facilitate their transfer to Makkah.

For his part, the Head of the Jeddah Center emphasized the importance of coordination among members of the Algerian Mission to provide the best services to the pilgrims. He noted that the Jeddah Center, along with the Medina Center, serves as a key transit point for Algerian pilgrims heading toward Makkah.

It is worth noting that flights transporting Algerian pilgrims to the Holy Sites have been ongoing since the first flight took off on April 29 toward Medina.
