The Algerian-Turkish Business Forum opened this Thursday in the Turkish capital, Ankara, with the participation of Algerian and Turkish businessmen.
The forum was co-chaired by the Minister of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion, Mr Kamal Rezig, and the Turkish Minister of Trade, Mr Omer Bolat, in the presence of officials, economic operators, and representatives of investment bodies from both Algeria and Türkiye.
On this occasion, Mr Rezig held bilateral talks with his Turkish counterpart, during which they reviewed the state of economic and trade relations between the two countries and discussed ways to strengthen joint cooperation, as well as expanding investment and partnership opportunities in various sectors of mutual interest.
The forum is being held as part of the official visit of the President of the Republic, Mr Abdelmadjid Tebboune, to Türkiye, where he will co-chair, alongside his brother, Turkish President Mr Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the proceedings of the first session of the Algerian-Turkish High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council.
