Algeria Wins Five Awards at the Global AI and Robotics Competition for Children in Jakarta

Algeria has won five awards at the Global AI, Programming, and Robotics Competition for Children held in the Indonesian capital, Jakarta, as announced this Monday by the Ministry of Knowledge Economy, Start-ups, and Micro-enterprises.

These awards include: the Girls in Science and Technology Award, the Encouragement Award in the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Challenge, the Encouragement Award in the Football Robotics Challenge, the Excellence Award for Best Robot Design (ranking fifth globally in the Football Robotics Challenge), and the Excellence Award for Best Robot Design (ranking sixth globally in the Football Robotics Challenge).

In a congratulatory message on the occasion, the Minister of Knowledge Economy, Start-ups, and Micro-enterprises, Mr. Noureddine Ouadah, considered that "this new achievement is nothing but a reflection of our children's ability to excel and assume leadership at the highest levels, especially in the fields of innovation and technology."

He also praised "the wonderful work done by the startup Aljazari Robotics—the national organizer of this competition—in mentoring and guiding the youth, which contributed to achieving these honorable results during this global forum."

It is worth noting that the Global AI, Programming, and Robotics Competition for Children, Codeavour 7.0, which was held at Binus University in Jakarta, Indonesia, saw the participation of more than 300,000 young people from 70 countries, according to the organizers.
