The President of the High Authority for Transparency, Prevention and Fight Against Corruption (HATPLC), Ms. Salima Mousserati, took part in the opening of the 17th session of the Implementation Review Group of the United Nations Convention against Corruption, which is being held in Vienna (Austria), a press release from the High Authority indicated on Tuesday.
Ms. Mousserati took part on Monday—alongside HATPLC Council member Mr. Ilyes Bensaci, and the Head of the Awareness, Training, and Cooperation Department, Mr. Djamel Ramini—in the opening proceedings of the 17th session of the Implementation Review Group of the UN Convention against Corruption, which will continue until May 22, the same source specified.
The first day of the proceedings was dedicated to "the examination of several items on the agenda, notably the performance of the implementation review mechanism of the UN Convention against Corruption, financial and budgetary matters, and the state of implementation of the Convention, particularly regarding the exchange of information and the sharing of expertise acquired in this field."
The proceedings were also marked by "the adoption of the Review Group's report on the work of its 17th session and the interventions of several States Parties to enrich the agenda and submit their recommendations," the press release concluded.
