Athlete Hadjer Kebir has qualified for the 400 meters at the Arab Under-23 Championships, scheduled to take place soon in Egypt, after achieving the necessary qualifying standard. She clocked a time of 55.70 during the recent Elite and Young Athletics Talents Day, held at the SATO track of the July 5th Stadium.

She follows in the footsteps of her compatriots Nour Meriem Guemane, Anis Chott, Zaki Abdoune, and Khaled Wakid, who also met the qualifying standards for the Arab Championships.

Coached by Anouar Taïbia, athlete Guemane qualified for the 3,000-meter steeplechase after clocking a time of 10:28.93 at a recent international meeting held in Brussels, Belgium.
