The Ministry of Culture and Arts announced, in a statement this Saturday, the launch of a national cultural event directed at children under the slogan "7/7 My Culture." Running from June 1 to 7, the event features open doors at libraries and museums, cinematic and theatrical performances, and cultural competitions, to mark International Children's Day.

Over the course of 7 days, this program will feature the organization of open doors at libraries across the wilayas, in addition to the National Library of Algeria, which is offering reading, writing, and drawing workshops.

The program for this event also includes free visits and tours to national museums, cultural parks, and internationally classified archaeological sites, alongside special and historical activities at the Royal Mausoleum in Tipaza and the Imedghassen Mausoleum in Batna.

This cultural event will be accompanied by free film screenings in public cinemas, while the Cinema Museum in the capital will host "7 Days of Children's Cinema," a space for meeting and discussion open to the young stars who have excelled in Algerian cinema and television series.

Theaters and cultural centers will also participate in this event by presenting theatrical performances aimed at children, who will have the opportunity to take part in the acting.

In turn, art schools and specialized museums will contribute to enriching this event's program through live drawing workshops.

During this event, children can also watch storytelling performances inside tram cars, with special books provided for young travelers, in coordination with the "SETRAM" company.
