Sifi Ghrieb Departs Niamey Following Official Visit to Niger

The Prime Minister, Mr. Saifi Ghrieb, departed Niamey this Wednesday following an official visit to Niger, during which he oversaw the inauguration of the 40-megawatt Algerian-Nigerien Solidarity Power Plant.

This project was completed as part of a grant provided by Algeria to the Republic of Niger, reflecting the depth of the relations of brotherhood, cooperation, and solidarity between the two countries, and supporting development efforts and the strengthening of energy infrastructure in Niger.

The Prime Minister, commissioned by the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, had led the inauguration ceremony of this energy facility alongside the Prime Minister of the Republic of Niger, Mr. Ali Lamine Zeine, marking a significant milestone in Algerian-Nigerien energy cooperation.

Following this, the Prime Minister was received by the President of the Republic of Niger and Head of State, General Abdourahamane Tiani, to whom he conveyed the brotherly greetings of the President of the Republic of Algeria, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, along with his personal commitment to working toward strengthening the brotherly bonds and relations of solidarity and cooperation between the two fraternal countries.

The Prime Minister was seen off at Niamey International Airport by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Niger, Mr. Ali Lamine Zeine, alongside the Ambassador of Algeria to Niger, Mr. Ahmed Saadi, and members of both countries' delegations.
